Bob Jordan
Guitar, Backing Vocals
Born in Cincinnati and raised in Lexington, Kentucky, Bob Jordan fell in love with music early, picking up the guitar and jumping behind a mixing console by age 15. What started as a teenage pastime quickly became a lifelong calling. As a passionate guitarist, vocalist, songwriter, and producer, he immersed himself in every corner of the music world — from the studio to the stage and everywhere in between.
After moving to Philadelphia in his early 20’s to join the band ZuZu’s Petals (with fellow Ronstadt Revue member Tim Reeder), his creative drive led him to co-write and co-produce Dynagroove’s 1991 release Dump Hop Jam, a record that showcased his early commitment to originality and experimentation. A short while later, he became co-owner of Chill Factor Recording Studios, where he helped shape projects for his own bands as well as emerging artists, including the debut Interscope Records album from Huffamoose. These efforts led to his recruitment by the Philadelphia chapter of NARAS, leading to Jordan’s “voting member” status with The Grammys.
After his collaborative work with Dynagroove, and seeking a vessel for his own musical identity, he formed the original band Transistor Rodeo in 1998. Together, they released three albums — Plastic Palomino, White Trash Honeymoon, and Goin’ Out in Style — blending hook-driven songwriting with an unmistakable southern attitude and twang, echoing Jordan’s Kentucky roots.
Along the way, he has written songs and collaborated with numerous artists, and his performance career put him on stage opening for celebrated acts like Cyndi Lauper, The Hooters, Shooter Jennings, Southern Culture on the Skids, The Reverend Horton Heat, and many more. Today, he continues to perform nationally as part of Ronstadt Revue and regionally with The Bourbon Tabernacle Choir, connecting with audiences through dynamic shows steeped in both musicianship and heart.
Whether he’s recording local bands in his home studio, crafting new original music, or engineering live shows with a veteran’s ear, Bob remains driven by the same passion that grabbed him as a kid — a deep love for music and a belief in its power to bring people together.“
